Holiday Stuffed Figs

Ingredients:
36 large fresh figs
1 1/2 cups brandy
36 walnut halves
about 1/4 cup raisins
sugar
Directions:
1. Soak figs overnight in brandy. Drain; discard brandy. Make a small hole at the round end of each fig, using a small knife.
2. Break each walnut half into 2 pieces. Insert 2 pieces walnut and 2 raisins into each fig to seal hole.
3. Roll each stuffed fig in sugar, and place upright on a wire rack. Allow figs to stand, uncovered, overnight to dry completely.
