Holiday Poppy Seed Cookies |

This is a great cookie for the holidays! You will love the poppyseed and chocolate taste. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 tsp salt |
2 egg yolks |
1 t vanilla |
2 cups sifted flour |
3 t. poppy seeds |
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted |
Directions:
1. Cream together butter,sugar, and salt until well blended,light and fluffy. 2. Add vanilla and egg yolks, one at a time, beat thoroughly 3. Stir in flour and blend well. 4. Stirlin poppy seeds. 5. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. 6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 1 inch apart. 7. Press center of each cookie using the handle end of a wooden spoon. 8. Bake at 375* for 10 to 12 minutes 9. Remove from cookie sheet. 10. Press center down again. 11. When cold, fill enters with melted chocolate(using a baby's feeding spoon works great) |
