Delicious combination of sweet and salty. Great as a gift in a bag or pretty container. Ingredients:
3 quarts popped popcorn |
1 cup dried apricot, cut up |
3/4 cup light corn syrup |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
1 (6 1/2 ounce) can nuts |
1/2 cup raisins |
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Toss popcorn, nuts, apricots and raisins. 2. Blend corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla and salt. 3. Pour over popcorn mixture. 4. Toss until evenly coated. 5. Put on buttered jelly roll pan. 6. Bake at 250 for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. |
