A easy holiday green bean recipe. Steak seasoning is the secret ingredient ( lots of different herbs and spices which go well with meat as well as with vegetables )in this simple but tasty green bean recipe, cooked to the tenderness you wish Ingredients:
2 lbs frozen green beans ( i used the french variety ) |
3 tbs olive oil |
1 tbs. montreal steak seasoning ( blend of coarse salt, black pepper, dill seed,coriander seed,red pepper, garlic granules,paprika ) |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet heat the olive oil over medium high heat 2. Add the frozen beans and cook and stir to coat beans with the oil 3. Add the seasoning and cook and stir until beans are desired tenderness 4. Note: walnut oil is also a nice oil to use for a nutty flavor 5. Also I like my beans with a nice green color and crisp tender . |
