Simple to make. Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed berries |
1 1/2 cups cranberries |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup white sugar |
1/2 cup hazelnuts, chopped |
2 eggs |
3/4 cup sugar |
3/4 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1/4 cup shortening, melted |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon sugar |
Directions:
1. Spray a 10 pie plate with Pam. Mix berries and cranberries together. Spread berry mixture over bottom and sprinkle with the sugars and hazelnuts. 2. Beat eggs well, add 3/4 cup sugar gradually and beat thoroughly. Add flour, cinnamon, melted butter and shortening to egg-sugar mixture. Beat well. Pour batter over top of berries. Sprinkle on cinnamon sugar. 3. Bake at 325° for 60 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. |
