Very different, very tasty dip. Try it you will love it, I hope. Ingredients:
4 scallions |
1-1/2-inch piece fresh ginger |
2 fresh red chilies |
2 garlic cloves |
4 tablespoons hoisin sauce |
1/2 cup tomato paste |
1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional) |
Directions:
1. Trim off and discard green ends of the scallions then slice the white parts very thinly. 2. Peel and finely chop the ginger. 3. Halve and seed the chilies and slice finely. 4. Finely chop the garlic. 5. Stir together hoisin sauce, tomato paste, scallions, ginger, chilies, garlic and sesame oil. 6. Serve within 1 hour. |
