This recipe makes 25 to 30 walnut-size crunchy treats, delicious when they begin to melt. Just divvy them into plastic sandwich bags and stick them in the freezer. Then, instead of reaching for a processed boxful of ingredients you can't even pronounce, you will be ready with a healthy, high-protein snack. Ingredients:
2 cups crunchy peanut butter |
2 scoops cocoa whey protein powder |
2 ripe bananas, mashed |
2 tablespoons flax seeds |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix together peanut butter, cocoa whey powder, bananas, and flax seed. 2. Mold the mixture into walnut-size balls, and place them in a container lined with parchment to separate the layers. Freeze at least 2 hours before serving |
