High Octane Buckwheat Pancakes |

I make these often for my family in the morning. not only do they taste heavenly, but they give you loads of energy to start your day Ingredients:
2/3 cup all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats |
6 tablespoons toasted wheat germ |
4 tablespoons sugar |
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon nu salt |
1 1/3 cups rice milk |
1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt |
2 tablespoons canola oil |
1/2 cup buckwheat groats |
Directions:
1. In a small bowl combine the first six ingriedients. 2. in another bowl combine the milk, yogurt, and oil. 3. stir into dry ingriendients until just moistened. 4. pour batter by 1/3 cup spoonfuls into a hot nonstick griddle. 5. turn when bubbles form on top of pancakes. 6. cook until second side is golden brown. |
