A delicious Chicken pasta recipe that a friend gave me 15 years ago This recipe is quick, easy and tastes awesome. Ingredients:
1 kg skinless chicken breast fillet |
30 g butter |
2 leeks |
1 onion |
1 (400 g) can cream of mushroom soup |
3 ml ground cinnamon |
250 g mushrooms |
1 red bell pepper |
3 ml salt |
3 ml ground black pepper |
250 g ribbon noodles |
Directions:
1. Peel and chop onion, wash and slice leeks,wipe and slice mushrooms. 2. Fry chicken in butter until brown remove, set aside. 3. Fry onion, leeks, mushrooms and red bell pepper in same pan until tender. 4. Return chicken to pan add can of cream of mushroom soup cinnamon and salt and pepper, bring to the boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer five minutes. 5. Remove from heat cover and keep warm. 6. Cook pasta in plenty of rapidly boiling salted water until tender, drain and place in a serving dish spoon chicken and sauce over pasta. 7. Serve hot. |
