Fun, easy, no-bake cookies. Kids of all ages love them. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup cocoa, hershey's |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
3 1/2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats |
1 cup flaked coconut |
1/2 cup nuts, chopped |
Directions:
1. In medium saucepan combine sugar, butter, milk and cocoa. 2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full boil; remove from heat. 3. Stir in remaining ingredients. 4. Immediately drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. 5. Cool completely. 6. Store in cool, dry place. |
