Hershey Syrup Chocolate Pound Cake |

My mom's recipe. She says I make it better but I think it's her way of getting me to make it:o) Ingredients:
5 eggs |
3 cups sugar |
1 cup butter |
1/2 cup crisco |
1 -1 1/2 cup milk |
2 tablespoons cocoa |
3 cups plain flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 (16 ounce) can hersheys chocolate syrup |
Directions:
1. Cream sugar, butter and Crisco. Add eggs, one at a time. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to mixture. Add vanilla. Add chocolate syrup last. Pour into greased and floured 10 tube pan. Start in cold oven. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tester (or toothpick) comes out clean. |
