A cake that tastes like a Hershey bar!
Ingredients:
2 sticks butter softened
4 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract.
2 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 ts. baking soda,mix into buttermilk.
1 cup pecans (optional)
8 hershey bars 1 can hershey chocolate syrup.(melt together on low heat)
Directions:
1. In a bowl mix Mix together first 7 ingredients listed.
2. Melt Hershey bars add syrup into it.
3. Fold the chocolate mixture gently into flour mixture.
4. Pour into well greased and floured bundt pan or square pans.
5. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven about 1 1/4 hours till toothpike comes out clean.
6. Remove from oven.
7. Cover with foil till cool.
8. FROSTING:
9. 1 bar Bakers Sweet chocolate
10. 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
11. 1/4 cup water
12. Melt together on low heat.
13. Mix in 1 cup sifted confectioner.sugar.
14. Blend together.Add 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.
15. Pour over cake allowing it to drip down sides ofthe cake.
16. Let set.
