cake Ingredients:
1 cup buttermilk |
2 1/2 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 cup butter |
2 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
2/3 cup chocolate syrup |
11 ounces hershey bars |
5 1/2 ounce evaporated milk |
1 1/2 cup sugar |
8 7/10 ounces hershey bars |
1/8 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease tube pan. 3. Measure buttermilk and set aside. 4. In medium bowl, combine flour, salt, backing soda with wire wisk, set aside. 5. Cream butter, sugar, eggas, and vanilla. 6. Add syrup and melted chocolate and mis completely. 7. Blend in buttermilk. 8. Gradually add flour mixture until well combined. 9. Pour into prepared pans. 10. Bake tup pan for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until done. 11. Cover it with foil immediately. 12. This has a steaming effect and keeps the cake moister. 13. Keep covered until cake is completely cool. 14. Frosting: 15. Combine evap milk and 1 1/2 c. sugar, boil 10 minutes. 16. Add 6 small Hershey's bars and butter. 17. Beat until cool and thick enough to spread. |
