Another one of Suzanne's recipes. She made this for me after spending a few weeks in Holland. I love this stuff with juicy pork ribs or chops. Ingredients:
1 cabbage |
1 egg |
2 fluid ounces vinegar |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper |
Directions:
1. Shred cabbage rather fine. 2. Put in saucepan or steamer basket and sprinkle with salt. 3. Cover pan and place over a low flame and steam until very tender. 4. Beat the egg, add the sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar and pour over the steamed cabbage. 5. Heat for 5 minutes and serve at once. |
