Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
2 tablespoons cornmeal |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened |
1 cup milk |
5 egg yolks |
1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell |
Directions:
1. Combine first 3 ingredients; mix well. Set aside. 2. Cream butter in a medium mixing bowl; add sugar mixture, beating well. Add milk and yolks. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 375°, and continue baking 45 minutes. Cool before slicing. |
