Get out the bread cubes and vegtables and have a fondue night! Ingredients:
2 tbsp. minced shallots |
2 tbsp. butter |
2 1/2 cups italian canned tomatoes, chopped |
sea salt and fresh pepper |
fresh herbs, such as thyme, basil, italian parsley or tarragon |
Directions:
1. Using a small saute pan, over medium heat, add the butter. Add shallots and cook for two minutes without browning 2. Add tomatoes, cover and cook over moderately high heat for several minutes to thicken the mixture. 3. When it has thickened, fold in the herbs and serve warm. 4. Serve with bread cubes and vegetables. |
