I count on this recipe for family feasts as well as company supper. It's simple to prepare and delicious every time. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/2 teaspoon celery salt |
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed |
1/4 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon dill weed |
1/8 teaspoon rubbed sage |
1 beef sirloin tip roast (2 pounds) |
Directions:
1. Combine seasonings; rub over entire roast. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. 2. Preheat oven to 425°. Place roast on a rack in a large shallow roasting pan. Bake, uncovered, 40-60 minutes or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 145°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°). Let stand 10-15 minutes before slicing. Yield: 6-8 servings. |
