A great Sunday dinner for your family. Ingredients:
1 boneless beef roast (3 lbs) |
1 tablespoon oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon marjoram |
1 teaspoon thyme |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon celery seed |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
2 (10 ounce) cans beef broth |
6 carrots, cut in thirds |
6 potatoes, peeled and quartered |
1 large onion, coarsley chopped |
Directions:
1. In dutch oven, brown roast in oil. 2. Mix the seasonings and sprinkle over meat. 3. Add broth; bring to a boil. 4. Cover and bake at 350* for 2 hours. 5. Add carrots, potatoes and onions. 6. Cover and bake 1 hour longer. 7. Thicken pan juices if you want a gravy. |
