I have a very picky teenager at home. She loves this recipe so thought I would share. Ingredients:
9 ears of fresh corn (bout 7 cups) |
21/2 tbsp butter or marg (i like butter with this recipe) |
1 tsp sea salt |
fresh ground black pepper |
1 tbsp of finely chopped chives |
1/2 tbsp of finely chopped parsley |
Directions:
1. after taking the husks and silk off corn, 2. slide a very sharp knife down the base of the corn cobs (as close as you can) removing the kernels. 3. (you should have about 7 cups) 4. heat butter in a frypan to medium high heat 5. add corn, salt and pepper 6. saute, uncovered, stirring often at medium heat for about 9 minutes. 7. add chives and parsley, 8. saute, stirring often for about 1 minute. 9. check for salt and pepper... 10. serve |
