HERBED CHEESE This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Fisher Estate in Irving, Texas in 1997. Ingredients:
16 ounces cream cheese |
2 teaspoons chopped fresh chives |
1 teaspoon fresh basil |
1 teaspoon caraway seed |
1 teaspoon dill seeds |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese, chives, basil, caraway and dill seed then shape into patty. 2. Lightly coat top and sides with pepper then cover and chill several hours. 3. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve with crackers. |
