Ingredients:
1 pound(s) broccoli, cut into flowerets (4 cups) |
2 tablespoon(s) olive or vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon(s) chopped fresh or 1/4 tsp dried basil leaves |
1 teaspoon(s) chopped fresh or 1/4 tsp dried oregano leaves |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped |
2 roma tomatoes, seeded & chopped |
Directions:
1. Heat 1 inch water to boiling in 10-inch skillet. Add broccoli. Heat to boiling. Boil 5 to 7 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain and set aside. Wipe out and dry skillet with paper towel. 2. Heat oil in same skillet over medium heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat about 1 minute, stirring frequently, until hot. Add broccoli; toss gently. 3. ** 2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained, can be substituted for the fresh broccoli. Omit step 1; cook broccoli as directed on package. |
