A really simple yet tasty herb vinaigrette to go on a slice of bread or a salad of your choosing. Recipe obtained from a local bread shop. Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil |
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar |
1 teaspoon dijon mustard |
1/4 cup finely chopped basil |
2 tablespoons chives, chopped |
1 teaspoon oregano, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients. 2. Mix together. 3. Serve with bread as a dip or spread or even as a salad dressing. |
