Herb Grilled Corn On The Cob |

This recipe is from my new kitchen herb garden kit. Can't wait for Summer grilling. (And for the herbs to grow!) This will definitely be on the menu. Prep time does not include chilling time. 2 hours Ingredients:
1 cup margarine, softened |
salt and pepper to taste |
1 tablespoon dried parsley |
1 tablespoon fresh basil |
1 tablespoon fresh chives |
3 cloves garlic, minced and crushed |
6 ears corn, husks removed |
Directions:
1. Combine the margarine, salt and pepper, parsley, basil, chives and garlic until well mixed. 2. Refrigerate for at least two hours to allow the flavors to mingle. 3. Spread the margarine generously over each ear of corn. 4. Wrap in aluminum foil and grill for 15 to 20 minutes or until done, turning frequently. 5. *For even sweeter corn, soak ears of corn in sugar water for a few hours.* |
