A great appetizer while you're waiting for your pasta to cook. Adjust all flavors to your taste, these quantities are just a starting place, I change it every time I make it. Enjoy! Ingredients:
1 tbl fresh garlic,minced |
1 tsp basil |
1 tsp rosemary |
1 tsp oregano |
1 1/2 tbl parsley |
kosher salt |
blk pepper to taste |
crushed red pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients completely 2. Put a pinch on a small plate, add some fine E.V.O.O. 3. Use a small piece of crusty Italian bread to blend herbs and oil 4. Taste bread, adjust the seasonings to your personal taste 5. To serve, start with a pinch or two on a plate, add the oil and blend herbs when dipping with bread 6. Add additional oil until herbs on plate are used up 7. Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 2 days. |
