I found this recipe in the Chicago Tribune, wanted to share it with everyone. I Hope you enjoy this recipe. Ingredients:
1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 teaspoon ground mustard |
1 teaspoon dried savory |
1 teaspoon pepper |
3 lbs chuck roast |
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed |
1 cup sour cream |
3 tablespoons prepared horseradish |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. 2. Rub over entire roast. 3. Place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. 4. Bake uncovered, at 325 degrees F for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until meal is tender and reaches desired doneness. 5. Medium-Rare, a meat thermometer should read 145 degrees F:. 6. Medium, 160 degrees F:. 7. Well-Done, 170 degrees F:. 8. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the sauce ingredients. 9. Serve with the roast. |
