Easy enough for a weeknight dinner or for your kids to prepare with a little supervision. Use leftover sauce to season vegetables, rice, or potatoes as your side dish. Ingredients:
1 lb bay scallops (frozen and thawed or fresh) or 1 lb sea scallops (frozen and thawed or fresh) |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine |
1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley |
1/2 teaspoon dried basil |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
ground black pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Put butter and seasonings in 13 x 9 baking pan and put prepared pan in oven; heat to 350 degrees (F). 2. Rinse scallops in cold water; pat dry. 3. Remove pan from oven; stir to combine melted butter and seasonings. 4. Add scallops; toss in butter mixture. 5. Return pan to oven; bake 15-25 minutes, stirring every 5-7 minutes to coat scallops with butter mixture. |
