Thinly slicing the bread loaf gives these breadsticks their extra crunch. Ingredients:
1 (8-ounce) loaf sourdough bread |
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil |
1 1/2 teaspoons dried italian seasoning |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Preheat broiler. 2. Slice bread in half lengthwise. Slice each half into 8 long sticks. 3. Combine olive oil, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Brush breadsticks evenly with oil mixture; place on a baking sheet. 4. Broil 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve immediately. |
