Helen's Lemon Sauce

This is my mother's recipe for Lemon Sauce.

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 cups boiling water

4 tablespoons butter

2 teaspoons lemon juice

Directions:

1. Mix first three ingredients.
2. Boil one minute
3. Stir in lemon juice and butter.
