This was a recipe that a lady I worked for always brought to holiday work potlucks. Everyone begged for her to bring it and begged for the recipe. Cooking time is chilling time. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package fresh cranberries |
1 1/2 cups water |
1 cup sugar |
1 (6 ounce) package gelatin (raspberry or black cherry) |
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple |
1 cup nuts (walnuts, pecans) |
Directions:
1. Bring water and cranberries to a boil, simmer until all berries pop. 2. Stir in gelatin until it is dissolved. 3. Add pineapple and nuts. 4. Pour into mold and put into refrigerator until it sets, 3-4 hours or overnight. |
