I haven't tested this out yet...... Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour |
1/2 cup unbleached flour |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 cup pitted dates, chopped |
1 cup raisins |
2 cups buttermilk |
1/2 cup molasses |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl mix all ingredients in order written. Let stand at room temperature for 1/2 hour. 2. Preheat oven to 350F and grease a large loaf pan. Pour bread mix into pan and bake 45-50 minutes. |
