Found this recipe a while back, I think from a newspaper. Ingredients:
1 cup finely chopped walnuts |
1/2 cup finely chopped dates |
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
1 cup flaked coconut (divided) |
1 egg, lightly beaten |
Directions:
1. Combine the walnuts, dates and brown sugar in a large bowl. 2. Add egg and half of the coconut, mix well. 3. Shape into balls, roll in remaining coconut. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned. 5. Remove to rack to cool. |
