This one is for the chocolate fans. Ingredients:
2 sticks margarine |
2 c. sugar |
2 c. self-rising flour |
4 eggs |
1 tsp. vanilla |
3 tbsps. cocoa |
1 c. nuts |
miniature marshmallows |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar. 2. Add eggs and flour and beat well. 3. Add vanilla, cocoa and nuts. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. 5. Cover immediately with miniature marshmallows. 6. Top with chocolate icing while hot. 7. Yield: 1-9 x 13 cake 8. ==================================================== 9. Chocolate Icing: 10. 1 stick margarine 11. 3 Tbsps. cocoa 12. 6 Tbsps. milk 13. 1 box XXXX sugar (Confectionery sugar) 14. 1 tsp. vanilla 15. Mix margarine, cocoa, and milk in sauce pan. 16. Heat over low flame but do not boil. 17. Remove from heat and add XXXX sugar, and vanilla. 18. Mix well. 19. Pour over cake as soon as removed from oven. |
