A sweet treat passed down from generation to generation, this chilled dessert will make you wanting more! Ingredients:
1 prepared graham cracker crust |
3 egg whites |
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar |
1 cup sugar |
20 ounces crushed pineapple, not drained |
1 cup heavy whipping cream |
3 tablespoons powdered sugar |
chopped nuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Beat egg whites until stiff. 2. Add sugar and cream of tartar. 3. Spread mixture over the graham cracker crust. 4. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. 5. Let cool completely. 6. Spread pineapple into cooled crust. 7. Mix whipping cream and powdred sugar. 8. Spread over pineapple. 9. Sprinkle with nuts, to taste. (optional). 10. Chill. |
