this is a fudgy sauce that has a little kick of coffee to it... pour it warm over ice cream or the Bourbon-Chocolate torte... this recipe come from the gifts from the kitchen cookbok. Ingredients:
1 package ( 12 ounces) semisweet choolate morsels, good quality |
1 tbsp. butter |
1/2 cup whipping cream |
1/4 cup strongly brewed coffee |
Directions:
1. place chocolate morsels and butter in a heavy saucepan. 2. cook over low heat until the chocolate and the butter melt. stir often 3. gradually whisk in whipping cream 4. cook, stirring constantly for 2 to 3 minutes or until smooth 5. remove from the heat 6. stir in the coffee 7. cool. cover and chill 8. makes about 1 3/4 cups |
