I received this recipe from someone. She said it's absolutely YUMMY and DELICIOUS. This is a very rich cake and does not need any icing. Please try it out and tell us thru your reviews. Ingredients:
1/2 lb butter |
1/2 cup shortening |
3 cups sugar |
5 large eggs |
3 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
4 tablespoons cocoa |
1 cup milk |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Cream butter, shortening, and sugar. Add one egg at a time, beating after each addition. Sift together all dry ingredients. Mix dry and wet, alternating with milk. Add vanilla. Pour into a 12-cup greased and floured tube or bundt pan. 2. Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until cake tests done. |
