Heavenly Bittersweet Chocolate Chunk Waffles

The best way to describe these waffles is fully loaded lol- with cream, butter and chocolate…….. What could be better???? I like mine with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, creamy peanut butter and hot fudge sauce (or just use your favorite syrup) anyway enjoy these what a treat for breakfast! Read more !!!!
Ingredients:
2 1/4- cups bleached all -purpose flour
3/4- cup bleached cake flour
3- tablespoons baking powder
1/8- teaspoon salt
1/2- cup granulated sugar
1 ,1/2 - cups heavy cream
6 - large eggs
1- tablespoon vanilla extract
10 - tablespoons ( 1 stick plus 2 tablespoons ) unsalted butter, melted and cooled to tepid..
6- ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
powdered sugar for sprinkling on finished waffles
Directions:
1. Mix the batter…..
2. Sift the all- purpose flour , cake flour, baking powder, salt and granulated sugar into a large mixing bowl…..
3. In a medium-size mixing bowl, whisk the heavy cream, eggs, and vanilla extract.
4. Add the melted butter and blend well
5. Pour the liquid ingredients over the sifted mixture, scatter the chopped chocolate over, stir to form a batter, taking care to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl as you are mixing
6. The batter will be slightly lumpy ..ok…
7. Make the waffles…..
8. Preheat a deep dish waffle iron
9. Spoon 1/3 to1/2 cup of batter onto each square of preheated iron
10. Cook waffles for about 1 1/2 - 2 minutes or until set
11. Cooked through and golden
12. Lift waffles onto a warming plate
13. Wait a moment before serving the waffles to allow the chunks of chocolate to cool
14. Serve the waffles with sprinkles of powdered sudar on them …….
