Yummie dessert, hope you enjoy Ingredients:
1 stick butter |
1 cups brown sugar |
1/2 cup white sugar |
2 cups flour |
place these in a bowl and mix well in an electric mixer. take out 1/2 cup of this mixture to use for the topping. in the bowl with the remaining mixture in it, add the following and mix until all dry ingredients are moistened |
1 cup buttermilk |
1 egg |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1 tsp. baking soda |
for the topping, add the following to the 1/2 cup of reserved mix |
5 oz. crushed heath bars (roughly 1/4 inch square pieces) |
1/4 chopped pecans |
pour the batter into prepared baking dish and spread until even. sprinkle the topping over the batter evenly. bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. slice into bars and serve |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch Pyrex® baking dish. 2. Makes about 32 bars. |
