If it's cold and rainy outside, then this meal is perfect! Ingredients:
2 lbs. pork loin chops |
1 packet onion soup mix |
3 tbs. oil |
4 cups beef broth |
1 can tomato sauce |
3 tbs. worcestershire sauce |
4 celery ribs, sliced |
1 large onion cut into quarters |
pepper to taste |
garlic to taste |
oregano to taste |
bunch of fresh parsley |
another packet of onion soup mix |
potatoes |
carrots |
peas |
peas |
Directions:
1. Cut pork loin chops 1 inch 2. Place pork in bag and coat with 1 packet onion soup mix 3. in hot oil, brown pork. 4. Add 4 cups beef broth, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, garlic, onion, celery, oregano, fresh parsley and the remaining onion soup mix package. 5. Bring to a boil then cover and simmer on stove top for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. 6. Add potatoes and carrots and cook for 30 - 40 more minutes or until vegetables are tender, add peas and warm through. 7. Serve! |
