I found this in a leaflet. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1 lb velveeta cheese, cubed |
15 ounces canned chili |
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce |
tortilla chips |
3 cups shredded lettuce |
1 cup chopped tomato |
1/4 cup green onion, slices |
Directions:
1. Combine Velveeta, chili, and hot pepper sauce in saucepan; stir over low heat until Velveeta is melted. 2. Place chips on large serving platter; top with remaining ingredients. 3. Microwave: Microwave Velveeta, chili and hot pepper sauce in 1 1/2-quart casserole or bowl on HIGH 5-6 minutes or until throughly heated, stirring every 3 minutes. Continue as directed. |
