A hot, hardy grain cereal perfect for cold winter mornings. Serve with soy milk, maple syrup, and sliced bananas. (This recipe is from the cookbook How It All Vegan .) Ingredients:
3 cups water |
1/2 cup rolled oats |
1/2 cup barley |
1/2 cup rice |
Directions:
1. In a medium pot, bring water to a boil. 2. Add all the other ingredients. 3. Lower heat and simmer for 45 minutes to an hour, stirring occasionally. |
