US Office of Disease Prevention 2005 Ingredients:
1 bulb of garlic, separated and peeled |
1/2 cup water |
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon honey |
1 tablespoon virgin olive oil |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Place garlic in pan and cover with water (about 1/2 c.) Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until garlic is tender - about 15 minute. 2. Reduce liquid to 2 T and increase heat for 3 minute 3. Pour through sieve into bowl and press garlic through, mashing, with wooden spoon. 4. Whisk in vinegar and add oil. |
