After the Easter picnic,I thought that we needed these for brunch today.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup soy flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoon wheat germ
2 tablespoon powdered milk
2 tablespoon unprocessed bran
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
grated peel of 1 orange
Directions:
1. Combine the first 10 ingredients
2. Reserve the egg whites and add the egg yolks and the remaining ingredients to the flour mixture in a food processor,blend well.
3. Beat the egg whites until stiff
4. Fold into the pancake mixture
5. Cook on griddle
6. Serve with my homemade syrup
