Healthy Oatmeal Almond Cookies |

A perfect, light snack for any occasion!!!!! Low in sugar and if you want to make it even more healthy, substitute the butter for margarine! Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened |
1 cup dark brown sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon coffee liqueur |
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 cups rolled oats |
1 cup almonds |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. In a large bowl cream butter, brown sugar, eggs and liquor until smooth. 3. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, salt. 4. Stir into sugar mixture. 5. Stir in almonds and oats. 6. Bake 10-12 min until light and golden. 7. let them cool for 2 min before removing. |
