a healthy morning cookie
Ingredients:
2 ounces applesauce (no sugar added)
1/4 cup brown sugar (light)
1 tablespoon canola oil
2 large eggs
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup cranberries
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons agave
1 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1/4 cup flax seed (golden ground)
3/4 cup oats
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup walnuts
2 teaspoons turbinado sugar (to sprinkle on top)
Directions:
1. Preheat 350 degrees.
2. mix wet.
3. combine dry.
4. then carefully combine together.
5. put 1/4 cup batter on baking sheet with parchment paper. Sprinkle with sugar in raw. bake 12 minutes and let cool.
