1/2 cup instant oats |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 cup whole wheat flour |
1/4 cup white flour |
1 tbsp flax |
1/2 tsp baking powder |
1/4 tsp baking soda |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup apple sauce |
1/2 egg |
1/8 cup chocolate chips |
1/8 cup strawberries, chopped |
1/8 cup walnuts, chopped |
Directions:
1. Place oats in a bowl with the milk and let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes 2. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees f and prepare your muffin pan 3. In a large bowl, stir the flour, baking powder, baking soda and brown sugar. Stir in the oat and milk mixture, applesauce and egg; mix well 4. Pour into prepared muffin pan and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden |
