Mom used to make this and I forgot about it for a long time but plan to start making it again.
Ingredients:
1 chopped onion
3 t olive oil
4 c shredded or chopped cabbage
salt, pepper, sugar, nutmeg, dash of vinegar
Directions:
1. Saute onion in oil for 3 minutes
2. Add cabbage and saute 5 more minutes while stirring frequently
3. Add seasonings
4. Cover and allow to steam for 5 minutes before serving
