These wraps have it all in the way of veggies, fruit, protein, healthy fat and a some heat. This recipe comes from a lady named Deborah Ramsay, and I would like to share it as well as save it, for those days when I need to fill up with good, healthy fare. They do mention that it may take awhile to 'chew' these, so that in itself is exercise! Ingredients:
4 (6 inch) whole wheat sandwich wraps |
1 (8 ounce) can tuna in water, drained |
1/2 red onion, chopped (optional) |
1 fuji apple, chopped |
4 tablespoons orange rind, grated |
1 -2 teaspoon thai red curry paste |
1 cup carrot, grated |
1/2 celery, chopped |
3 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise |
Directions:
1. Combine above ingredients and fill the wraps. 2. Chomp away! |
