Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies |

This is my healthy attempt at making chocolate chip cookies from a friend's recipe, but lowering the fats and chosterol. Ingredients:
1 cup president's choice celeb margarine |
4 egg whites |
14 single packages of sugar twin brand artificial sweetener |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup quick oats |
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon half salt |
Directions:
1. Cream together margarine, brown sugar, and sweetener. Beat in the egg whites and vanilla extract. 2. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt and quick oats. Gradually blend into the creamed mixture. 3. Stir in the Chocolate Chips. 4. Drop the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 325 F for 10 to 12 minutes. Heat may vary based on oven. |
