Healthy Chicken/Turkey Burgers |

I make these and double the recipe. I wrap each burger and lay on a cookie sheet till frozen then bag, they keep in the freezer about 3 months. It's a great recipe for when ground chicken or turkey is on sale. Ingredients:
1 lb ground chicken or 1 lb ground turkey |
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs |
1/4 cup applesauce |
1/4 cup yellow onion, minced |
1/4 cup parsley, chopped |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and shape into patties. 2. Grill, broil or saute about 4 to 5 minutes per side. |
