This dish is one of my favorites from . This is the original recipe from the user rhondalah. Next time I made it, I'm going to try adding extra applesauce and cinnamon. They're healthy and very tasty. Read more . Only 73 calories per serving!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups instant oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1 cup applesauce
2/3 cup skim milk
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp oil
1 egg
1 cup finely chopped apple
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients, add remaining. Batter should be lumpy.
2. Fill greased (I use cooking spray) muffin cups 2/3 full with batter.
3. Bake at 400F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
