                    This dish is one of my favorites from . This is the original recipe from the user rhondalah. Next time I made it, I'm going to try adding extra applesauce and cinnamon.                                                 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour  |  
                                                1 1/2 cups instant oats  |  
                                                1/2 tsp cinnamon  |  
                                                1 tsp baking powder  |  
                                                3/4 tsp baking soda  |  
                                                pinch of salt  |  
                                                1 cup applesauce  |  
                                                2/3 cup skim milk  |  
                                                1/4 cup sugar  |  
                                                2 tbsp oil  |  
                                                1 egg  |  
                                                1 cup finely chopped apple  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Mix dry ingredients, add remaining. Batter should be lumpy. 2. Fill greased (I use cooking spray) muffin cups 2/3 full with batter. 3. Bake at 400F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.                              |
